The 5th Annual Carl Rinne Lewy Body Dementia Initiative Lecture: “Diamonds are forever: an overview of the UK Diamond-Lewy study”

Dr. John-Paul Taylor presented at  The 5th Annual Carl Rinne Lewy Body Dementia Initiative Lecture in conjunction with Neurology Grand Rounds virtually on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.The title of his presentation was: “Diamonds are forever: an overview of the UK Diamond-Lewy study”.

Dr. John-Paul Taylor MD MRCPsych PhD is Professor of Translational Dementia Research and Honorary Consultant at Newcastle University and Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. His research focuses the application of neuroimaging and neurophysiological approaches in understanding symptom etiology in dementia with Lewy bodies and Parkinson’s disease dementia. Dr. Taylor has led on development of symptom management guidelines for Lewy body dementia. Clinically he leads a specialist Lewy body dementia clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
